Areas of educational expertise and experience:
Matt brings extensive expertise and experience to the field of education, with a strong focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN) support and leadership. His journey began as a PE Coordinator in the Special Education, where Matt gained valuable insights into catering to diverse needs of students.
He then moved to mainstream educations as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), where he was also the Trust Area SENCo for a large Multi Academy Trust, working with both Primary and secondary schools

In addition to the qualification as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Matt has a Master of Education in leadership and management, is a chartered manager and currently working on his NPQH.
In-reach and outreach- support offered in the following areas:
- Tailored staff training programs to improve classroom support and teaching and learning strategies, fostering the adoption of best practices and ensuring consistency.
- Expertise in resource optimization, enabling joint commissioning of external professionals, such as Educational Psychologists, for early identification of SEND needs, leading to cost-effective and comprehensive support.
- Assistance with complex cases, providing specialized guidance and support for challenging situations.
